Hi Everyone, I’m Hayley, I am in my final term of university.

So, who am I? I am just a young woman wishing to follow her dreams. I heard about being able to do university online while I was still at school and I thought well this could be something for me, it was when I was sitting down with my careers coordinator when I decided that I would, after many days thinking about it, I finally decided to apply. And here I am today in my final term of university. I was able to complete the degree sooner due to undertaking 4 units whilst still at school through the SUN Course (Start Uni Now) which I was fortunate enough to gain direct entry from this into university which I start in 2021 as part time, online. I am so excited for my final term of university.

I am a country girl, so I like showing cattle, spending time with family, friends and pets. I am located in Central Quensland.

What career do I want to do? Coming from a small prep to grade six school, I was the only girl in a remote part of Queensland, I always wanted to write on the whiteboards, and I thought well maybe I should become a school teacher. Now that I look back on that, I think to myself why would I want to do that when I could do other things that I really do enjoy like the agricultural industry and the accounting and business industry. I have always loved working with cattle and livestock especially inputting data and counting money and trying to work out how to save money and earn money faster. Hence why now I am working within an accounting firm which is mainly rural clients which contains livestock – so 2 in 1 package!
